Future Impact Scalers Award

Could your ideas, experience or perspective help shape Scaling Week 2026?

The Future Impact Scalers Award opens two contributor tracks for people whose voices and craft the event needs — but for whom cost or distance would otherwise be a barrier.

This is a contribution exchange, not a giveaway. Selected contributors bring a session or a defined role during the week; in return we waive the participation fee and, where funding allows, support travel.

Priority will go to applicants who…

  • Could not participate without financial support
  • Bring an underrepresented perspective
  • Offer a strong and clearly defined contribution
  • Increase the geographic diversity of the programme
  • Have no institutional source of funding

Submissions are now closed

The extended deadline for the Future Impact Scalers Award was 21 August 2026. Applications are no longer being accepted. We will reach out to all applicants shortly with next steps.

What selected contributors receive

  • Fee waived

Full waiver of the Scaling Week participation fee.

  • Travel support

A full bursary, flights, accommodation or a partial contribution — depending on what you need to make participation possible.

  • A real role

A session or defined contributor role in the programme, 22–24 September 2026 in Nairobi.

  • Networking

Scaling Week is a community gathering. You'll have the opportunity to get to know professionals from various sectors and backgrounds. We will help you find the person you'd like to talk to.
